A montage of beautifully haunting images of Highgate Cemetery (West), London, England - taken by Steve Johnson.

Steve had originally posted his pictures at mysterial.co.uk where a higher quality of this video is available: http://mysterial.org.uk/films

This short presentation, is set to the music from the motion picture - Edward Scissorhands - music by Danny Elfman.

Steves photo's were arranged (and some slightly animated) to the music, to create the video - produced by Mark Andrew Elvidge - paranormal investigator, website owner/operator, and musician.

Background..

Mark created the video simply using Steves photo's, Windows Movie Maker (free with WindowsXP), and the animation using Corel Photopaint, and Microsoft GIF Animator - and not forgetting the beautiful score from Danny Elfman.

  • So lovely!

There's beauty in death - most don't want to look for it.

  • @gothicgirly94 - so what would your choice of music be?

  • Went to Highgate Cemetery when I was 14 and it was a wonderful and interesting place to visit, really atmospheric too.

Nice video and the music fits well with the lovely lugubrious visuals.

  • the music is so awsome

  • @MurasakiFujiwara For me, it's a beautiful, but not horror. :)

  • @gothicgirly94 And this isn't horror? There's some charm in the beauty of calm music. Just like cemeteries are hauntingly beautiful, so should be the music that goes with.

There is nothing more gothic than a lovely waltz.

  • i lost there 2 times the night was very dark ! : (

  • Ummm...there're no homeless around?

  • Hermoso cementerio :)

  • The photos and the music are beautifully combined. I've never heard of this place before and I have always been fascinated by cemeteries. This one I would love to wander through! Thank you for making this.
