I'm actually planning on getting one, I'm a Ford guy, and I drive a '94 F-250 with a Straight-6. Even at it's "meager fuel economy" of 16 city/22 highway, it beats my 12 city/16 highway. Plus I need the room for people.

I heard a rumor that the Ontario plant is going to slow the line on Jan 9th, and may lay off an additional 30 people. I could never understand why Ford would launch a new vehicle that's main competitor was also a Ford. They either planned for the Flex to fail, but make the Edge look better from a pricepoint (which makes little sense) or they were ready to eat their own young, by making more profit on the Flex, and he expense of Edge volumes...Bad plan. No one is paying 40K for this box on wheels

while in reality the get about 23

thats "strange boxy appearance" is xactly what they were looking for. its different. this vehicle is goingt o sell i xpect. wait and see. you have no vision.
