Beautiful. Looks like the best place to be when TSHTF. Just finished reading a book called A Lady's Life in the Rocky Mountains. An English woman travelled alone on horseback in 1873 and wrote amazing descriptions of her travels. A photographer, like you. She spent time with "Mountain Jim" Nugent, a famous charming chivalrous desperado. Camped, drove cattle, etc. At one point she is left penniless during a financial panic and no banks were doing business.The more things change....

I sure did. Just have to get out and about. Plenty of opportunity here in the Pikes Peak region.
