@curlsbieber728 Because they took the time to get to know each other completely and fully and to overcome hurdles in their relationship so that they can have a successful marriage. There are much higher divorce rates for couples who don't take the time to know each other fully. Marriage is an extremely serious commitment and couples really need to make sure they are ready for such a serious commitment. In my opinion, the longer, the better.
