@systemshq1 calzaghe wud have beat jones anytime in his career
-
@clarehallmen lol youre joking right?
-
@Rapid8Fire yes he was definatly more powerful than calzaghe but calzaghe was also a lot more powerful a few years b4 this due to many hand injuries. But yes i do see your point rjj was a great fighter and one of my favourite to watch because of his confidence and raw ability

Roy Jones Jr is having a laugh. Calzaghe is very good In his prime RJJ would have knocked him into orbit.

I like the showboating in rd three, everyone should get humbled now and again...But Calzaghe's only real claim to fame is the Hopkins "split" decision, beating Jone is like beating himself( a guy w/ a ton of fights and maybe, 3 of them were against quality foes)

Roy Jones is my favorite boxer of all time. He lost this fight because he never has had to fight a mirror image of himself. In this fight Joe Calzaghe is the prime Roy Jones Jr. Roy was confused, Like they said Calzaghe "Out-Roy Jonesed......Roy Jones."
-
@kinchyboi92 Na i doubt Roy's power was unmatched back then
-
Biased american comentary is hilarious in this!

Emanuel Steward said "This is what i expected Roy to do. Cover-up, walk him down and try to forced Calzaghe to burn himself out" at 08:32 of the video.. LMFAO!!! he said some more dumb things but it didn't make me laugh..
end of round 3 was classic...hahaha

Calzaghe beat an undefeated Jeff Lacy, who at the time was getting called the next Mike Tyson. And he beat an undefeated Mikkel Kessler, who was and still is at the very top level. They weren't washed up, and people dont realise Calzaghe was in his late 30's when he fought both Hopkins and Jones, he wasn't in his prime. Have some respect for a great fighter.
