This device is simply a cardboard box with a plexi-glass window on one side. The lever is a piece of plastic sticking through a slot in box that has a rod as a pivot axis. The feeding tube is pvc pipe with and elbow on end. See first video at my site to see box closer, When rat touches lever you manually drop food down tube into feeding tray.
