Very cool. When I go to Cairo, I'll make sure to stay at the Marriott. Looks like a nice place, and it's cool that the staff is taking this in stride without some non-eco-friendly freak-out. Animals are everywhere, and it's nice to hear they're good about this.

Heck, this will bias me towards Marriott in the states. Nice work, Tim!
