Thanks for doing this video. The first half seemed more for seminarians. Yet I didn't know how important the word "That" could be. It is a good thing I live by faith because us regular people are a bit backward on our Greek grammar.

Good Greek grammar lesson! subjunctive clause.....

@AtheismTV The Bible is read by many but interpreted by only one - the Holy
Spirit. Take for instance Mark 9:48 "... to be cast into hell fire, where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." and Isaiah 66:24 "And they shall go out and look on the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against me. For their worm shall not die, their fire shall not be quenched, and they shall be an abhorrence to all flesh." Check out the "new/old" guy: Halicephalobus mephisto. Cool huh?

Militant atheism makes no sense.
Okay, actually it does. The Bible makes it pretty clear that Christianity is abhorrent to those who do not believe and persecuting and mocking Christians is what will result. There's a lot of precedent for what AtheismTV is trying to do.

@AtheismTV You made me break my promise! Silly atheist. Did you not read 24:3 closely? The disciples ask two questions. Jesus answer them both. Then there's the apocalyptic language about sun and moon, yadda yadda. But you don't care, do you? You just want to play your games in order to convince yourself how very clever you are, because you're hiding in the delusion which is too good to be true. Finally, if God does not exist, stopping wasting your time here and go have some fun. Sheesh.

@Revfiskj Incorrect. He first answered this question: "what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" Matthew 24:3 and then he gave the signs, and lastly he said this would happen in THIS generation.
You, just like Harold Camping, are "not reading the book carefully (if at all)". But I'm not surprized. Each christian reads the bible any way they want. That's why there are 34,000 denominations.

@AtheismTV Dear Atheist: this will be my last reply. I will not play your silly games. Jesus said the temple would be destroyed in the generation of his disciples, and it happened. I appreciate your ardent desire to justify yourself. I really do. Good luck with it.
Is it an oversimplification to conclude that God predestines/chooses *everyone* and those not saved reject that privilege to be saved? It answers that Calvinist issue about predestined damnation, but since I've never heard someone explicitly come out and say something like above, I wonder if it's a shortcut to something not easily understood. You often talk about people rejecting God's Word, but it sometimes seems like that implies that the person was never chosen in the first place. I'm just l

@SporloMBSSB Oversimplificaiton? Perhaps. It's a mystery. Trying to get around the mystery is what gets us in trouble. The purpose of the Doctrine of Election is to preach that "you" are elect. The elect will believe it. Those who do not believe it do so of their own free (bound to sin) will.
