  • @LoreSka Do you even know him ? oO

  • wtf

  • the fuck is this shit?

  • Bullshit, he chose to own nothing just to help people. If each one of us do 1/10 of what he does the world would immediatly.

  • Patch Adams is a good person, but a bad philosopher. Anywhere he goes he attacks the power, he lives in a permanent utopia which may be good but unlikely.

  • he's a good men

  • Facism is not extreme conservatism, it is more akin to extreme liberalism in nature.

  • Well there really hasn't been an example historically, but if you look at the financial situation of nazi germany which was a conservative society akin to the united states, things could get just as bad here with rampant racism and christianity only it would be ruled by a leader like bush and funded by large corporations. more of a state of corporate marshall law than facism but they're similar. however that is a stretch. i agree with you in general, just dont think patch is making any argument

  • Capitalism unchecked turns to fascism? Give me an example.

Your last sentence is valid. Capitalism while being humane is very noble. I just don't want anyone telling me what to do with my money.

  • capitalism has worked very well for a number of years, but it must be checked. leaving capitalism unchecked turns into facism, which is extreme conservativism often brought on by economic plight (usa = large model of starbucks), just as letting socialism run rampant will turn into communism. the finest place to be would be socialism on the edge of capitalism or vice versa. obama i feel has a good chance of achieving this balance until we can continue to be truly capitalist whilst being humane.
