Steorn Orbo Ad on Al Jazeera

On 15th of december 2009, this Orbo-Ad from Steorn was shown on Al Jazeera International.
On this day, also a public demo of steorn´s tech began at the waterways visitor centre in Dublin.

The Ad begins about a minute after the video starts. The video shows a few minutes of Al Jazeeras program after the ad.

If Steorn could only harness the annoyance factor of showing a battery powered electric motor after three years of BS, they would finally have something. Anyone in Dublin feel like taking a walk over to the dog and pony show and presenting Sean McCarthy with a CAPACITOR and ask him why they can't simply use it instead of a battery and essentially instantly prove OU? The whole thing is a sick joke as far as I can tell.

I thought the CEO of Steorn had apologised some time ago saying they had mistaken and the device actually didn't work. ¿What's going on with this whole issue?

I like the logo for the orbo - a play icon. Funny the following advert had a stop icon as it's prominent feature, with a five pointed star to boot! Most uncanny, and potentially subliminal.

That was back in 2007, where they had problems with broken bearings. Now there is a new demo running in Dublin. Check out their homepage.
