Cheers for the comments! Regarding ticket barriers, the only stations on Merseyrail to have them are Liverpool Central, Moorfields, Southport, James Street, Lime Street, Hamilton Square, Chester and Conway Park. Although Sandhills has been refurbished, it still lacks barriers. The booking office is now at platform level. HTH!

Whats happening at sandhills..last time I was there was about 4 years ago.

It's having a major refurbishment. They took the place almost literally to bits earlier this year. It also reopened several months late due to Network Rail designing the platform several metres too narrow!!

A good video as always! But graffiti is now becoming a problem on the merseyrail network, recentley I noticed that 507008 is covered in graffti now aswell which ruins the culture livery. :(

Thanks for the comment. Noticed 507008's graffiti myself a couple of weeks ago but they seem to have cleaned it off without too much damage, thankfully. Seems to be Rock Ferry where it all happens - let's hope they get it under control soon.
