Review by Christopher Levine, Eclectic Inc.
'Be prepared to really, really enjoy something. Trust me. Find Lonely Hunters links on the Eclectic Talent Pool page and Our Member's Links page. Listen to "She Keeps Me From The Sun."
This UK band is such a total and complete welcome from the norm. They are a Rock Band. (Isn't that great?) Not Emo, not Power Pop, not an insulting to the masses manufactured thing. Lonely Hunters are one of those rare bands that would work in multiple decades. They work now...let's face it...rock NEEDS this kind of songwriting now. They would have been relevant in the sixties as an English pop/rock band, they would have worked in the '70's as a Classic Rock band, could have ruled college radio in the '80's, and would have been a Brit-Pop/Rock force to be reckoned with with the resurgence of this in the '90's.
I am amazed I found them before Rodney Bingenheimer did.
So...have you listened to the song yet?
