actually, I shedded my tears, being so touching at this last scene, like that of one of the greatest movies, dead poets society..

This movie was not at all unrealistic. Sure, it's hard to believe that a fourteen year old could come that close to winning the Boston marathon, but it's possible. Half of the movie was him trying to get used to tolerating more and more pain, and if you really are a runner, you'd know that running a marathon is probably more about tolerating the pain and not giving up than speed or any other factor. He set a goal and worked as hard as he could to achieve it. It's very possible.

@keving1214 You take yourself too seriously there keving1214, if you lighten up a little it might improve your stride.
Great work Mike. The night scene training in the park blow me away.

I just want to further elaborate why this movie sucks. This movie is incredibly unrealistic; spiderman is more realistic than this. I hate how this kid suddenly becomes an incredible marathoner with the aboslute worst training I've ever seen. The way he trained and how they displayed how untalented he was when he started running shows how this movie is ridiculous. I'm sure this movie might be good in some people's eyes, but as a runner's perspective it is horrible.
