How to worm a horse. We need to give horses wormers in order to keep them from becoming infested with intestinal worms. There are 3 classes of paste wormers; fenbendazole, pyrantel, ivermectin. Don't go by the Brand name. Chemical compounds are classified by the last part of the chemical name. To choose a wormer first look the last part of the chemical name; azole, antel and ectin. Each class kills a different set of parasites. Some wormers are better for each season that specific parasites present themselves. I will go over that in a later video.
