(http://mitziszereto.com/tv) The Mitzi TV crew featuring Mitzi Szereto go on the prowl in London in search of an East End "Cockney" delicacy, the famous jellied eel... only to discover that these scary denizens of the deep weren't their cup of tea. Next time it's pie and mash!

@leadshotkid As you saw we had a heck of a time even finding Manzes! And I've gone looking for Tubby's since then, and couldn't find it to save my life. No one had even heard of it. There seemed to be nothing there but Indian clothes shops and stalls selling a bunch of cheap tat.

@leadshotkid I don't know - I'm not convinced. I think once in a lifetime eating jellied eels is enough for me!

i'm from the east end and love jellied eels, pie and mash, something you need to take a look at though is the way they're caught and prepared lol. You can chop an eel up into loads of pieces, an hour later the pieces still move when you touch them, just food for thought :)
