  • leaving the key in may not be the best idea but geez give the guy a break. Besides you are sposed to pull the chuck through by hand before turning it on anyway, that'll let you know about anything silly you've done. What are you using to hold the separate tools in?

  • @zyeborm Amazing how many comment about the chuck, anyways the tool bit is held in place by a clamping plate that has 3 bolts that i loosen which then clamps the tool bit in place. simple but very effective, instructions on how to make it come with the turret plans.

  • the key doesnt matter.

its well done, wonderfull machine, no reason to nag. you should be proud

  • Not that bad. But the key in the chuck is a absolute NoGo! Never do this! How is your revolver fixed in each position? And how do you fix your drills in the revolver?

  • the key in the chuck no, no, no!!!!!

  • I have done it many times and it always went straight down at my foot. But I've been lucky. (_8^(|)

  • been there done that left the key in the chuck once when distracted and started it up not a nice experience...

  • Learn how to focus and DON'T leave the key in the chuck!

  • cool
