Welfare for the Wealthy (Pt2) Tax BILLIONS go to Subsidies

Farm subsidies once insulated the family farmer from catastrophic loss. They now pay corporate farmers regardless of profit or loss, and non-farmers who build homes on former farmland.

Billions of your tax dollars go to the wealthy. This while food prices are at all time highs, poverty is rising in the U.S. and schools are in crisis, out performed by Europe and Asia.

I can understand having a Safety Net for Farmers for when their not able to sell their products in bad Economic Times or in bad weather. But it shouldn't come out of General Revenue. Farmers should have to pay for their Farm Insurance.

it doesnt make sense? so because you have land, you get money and you dont have to farm.? So if i want to farm, its better off if i dont as long as i have land? and why are they allowed to sell the subsidies? They should be more strict on taxpayer money. Cmon, its not the governments money its ours. Its like if i lend you money. but its not mine its my friends. I will be strict with you because its not mine, its my friends money! what the hell? whats happening here?

Why aren't more people in America aware of this? It just seems like most people's attitude is, "When in doubt, blame poor people for being lazy". Meanwhile, these rich bastards are getting away with murder and some people actually complement them for finding creative ways to cheat!
