[UPDATE] We have found the owner of the lost Lumix FT10 camera! See the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hb4xDNyITBU Read more on the Panasonic blog: http://bit.ly/uB5e1u
While on a fishing trip Adam Biro, from Fairfield East in NSW caught a Lumix DMC-FT10 Tough compact digital camera at Cottage Rock in Cowan Creek near the Hawkesbury River (NSW). The camera had been submerged under 10m of water for 7 days.
Photos found on the camera reveal a family on a houseboat and the last few shots were of the kids fooling around with the camera before it went overboard.
Adam took it upon himself to call our head office and turned it in, hoping we could track down the owner. We know it must seem like the story is almost too good to be true, but it definitely is and we would like to assist Adam in finding the owner of the camera with the help of our social media channels.

The first picture on my camera is of my business card... or a piece of paper with my name email address and cell phone number... That way if I loose a camera (again) who ever finds it can track me down... "Just mail me the memory card, and keep the camera as a reward for your honesty."

The photo of the boats show a houseboat on the left, which other images were taken while actually on, so if they released the origional of that image, it wouldn't be too hard to read the name of the boat on the bow, and track who was using it on that date.

sounds like a viral video attempt. this hardly sounds real to me. but the thought is nice :)
a good ad would be to put it to the real test in a ametuer filmed style. now that would make me buy the camera!
