Mountain Air is a little private community on the mountains of NC, close to Asheville. It's the highest runway east of the Mississipi (around 4,000ft) - Length? only 2800! Notice the skid marks.

That is really cool. I recently drove through that area and that is some very serious terrain. I thought landing at KCRW Charleston WV Yeager was bad. This makes Yeager look like DFW.
