this is what to expect when you wake up from getting your Nasal Polyps removed remember they are not a disease, but the result of inflammation in your nose or sinuses. The inflammation allows fluid to build up in the cells of your nose and sinuses. Over time, as gravity pulls on these fluid-filled cells, they can develop into Nasal Polyps.

  • good luck with your packing removal, it's fun times. feels like there pulling your eyes out your nose. but after its done ...awww feels so good :)

  • 2 weeks after getting home i was pretty much back to normalish , the nose will still be a bit sensitive for at least a month in total. i would recommend not getting punched in it..besides that not much to complain about

  • i was asleep during the operation, nothnig to be scared of it was not really a big deal after all said and done :)

  • I've been there! I had polyp surgery (riddled with them) 19 years ago and looked and felt the same as you look here. They returned with a vengeance though and I've continued suffering with them since. Last week I had surgery again....and so thankful, they've improved the procedures. This time around I wasn't packed with the old fashioned cotton wadding etc. that then has to be removed. The surgeon used a dissolvable packing. 100% better. No bruising or swelling. Could breathe immediately after.

  • Thank you for your video and your comments. I too have to have surgery due to chronic sinusitis, nasal septal deviation and trubinate enlargement. To say the least, I'm scared. Your comment from two weeks ago really helps. Overall do you think the surgery was very helpful?

  • how long was the recovery
