@ross19902008 I have almost the exact same myopia as you, however I'm 14 and trying to improve my vision (with a small amount of success). I don't really feel that blind however, I'm used to it.

@IntolerantAtheist1 This kid is too old already. No reversing him to an emmetropic state. Yes, wearing plus lens during close work will stop progressive myopia, but why deny him Ortho K? Axial elongation has already occured and is irreversable. He's a myope for life. Now, a 4 year old with glasses on and their nose in a text book is another story. Go check out the baby's with glasses forum. 6 month old babies with plus lenses.

It all depends on your prescription. One thing I can tell you for sure. Custom wave lens is the way to go. Those generic CRT lens suck.
