@EventHorizonBlue id say its going completely the other way- vonnegut got it wrong- huxley and camus got it right- the future will have elites- the rich and powerful and beautiful who can afford luxury and good health- while the majority will be poor and live hard lives- take a look at wealth 2% controlls 95% of the wealth- thats where we are- not were were going!!

Need better lighting, at least for the dance sequence.

@ChrissillaFinnilla thats because Kurt Vonnegut is just so much more awesome than you. Sorry to say, Mr. Vonnegut is actually so superior to you, it's not even funny. So, yeah, I see why you would disrespect his excellent story -- as revenge for him just being so much more awesome.

Its half life and/or garry's mod.

haha same
Sorry you find it boring. It is a wonderful look into an aspect of humanity that strives for equality, but not through that of improved standards where everyone gains something, but a reductoinist equality where everyone loses. Vonnegut is arguably the greatest American author from the 20th century. Harrison Bergeron is only the smallest tip of the iceberg compared to the rest of his works. Slaughterhouse V is perhaps his best known work.

Brilliant and scary. The way our society is carrying on with political correctness, this could become reality much before 2081.
