Will new Russian benefits boost births?

The Russian government has implemented a series of initiatives to try and cut the falling birth rate. However some of the women who are supposed to benefit from the measures say they don't go far enough.

Russia is becoming the Canada of the East. A small population in regards to an enormous land mass. Nigeria has more people than the Russian Federation. That is why Putin is investing in industry that requires less workers like lumber and gas exports. I don't blame him it is a smart thing to do. From the year 2000 to 2009 the Russian Federation's population decline over 6 million people.
