What a treat seeing AL in this clip. She's always been so regal and refined. And what a career she's had -- I agree with previous posters. By not nabbing an Oscar both she and Hollywood was robbed!

@soulierinvestments I SO agree with you !! She should have won for The Manchurian Candidate but as you know the Oscar Academy has made soo many Blunders , the worst of which was not awarding the Oscar to Judy Garland in A Star Is Born !! But I simply ADORE Angela Lansbury ...what a Treasure !! xo

Is it me or does John Daly looked exceptionally tired, spent, beat and run-down? To watch and enjoy all these old shows is very surrealistic knowing no one is alive now. Kinda eerie. But thanks for sharing!

We think of her in this role now, but at the time you could not picture anyone but Rosalyn Russell doing the role.

3:58 -- Angela won Tony Awards of course, and I think some Emmys, but she did not win an Oscar, which seems inconceivable considering that she got her nominations for Gaslight, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and The Manchurian Candidate. In all 3 years, the Academy could have done far worse not to award best supporting actress to her.
