Released on the 1955 EP, "Especially For You". This song was a R&B and pop hit for LaVern Baker who originally recorded it (#14 Pop, #4 R&B), and a pop hit for Georgia Gibbs (#2 Pop).

  • Teresa Brewer's singing always make you feel glad & full of joy, no wonder a star of the 50s...it was so close to Georgia Gibbs' version yet Gibbs' version reached a higher chart position, it happened in HK as well..

  • The chart positions in the description refer to the LaVern Baker and Georgia Gibbs records. Teresa's was the b-side of "Rock Love" which didn't chart. Sorry for any confusion. Nevertheless, I agree, Teresa's singing does have a way of making you feel really good and joyful! Keep the comments coming, Terry!
