    The more I watch this, the more great stuff I catch in the performance. Epic head-banging moves by the keyboardist, Doug's ever-evolving facial expressions, and the poor stiff-as-a-board maracas player. How could anyone not love this!!?? Great song. Classic 60's everything! Peace, AHA

    This made me laugh .. I think I have it figured out. It seems to depend on which show the Artist appears on. Hullabaloo seemed to be one of the biggest culprits when it came to weird background people .. This one takes strange to another level .. but it's funny (paste code in youtube search bar Q9kT13WXxG8) -- bottom line - the music is still great.

    Colt4667 - I have no idea ..the only explanation I can come up with is that it was some form of early music video experimentation .. or the the director of the video had listened to the song -"I Had Too Much to Dream (Last Night)" by the Electric Prunes - one to many times. ;-)
