I go to the St. Simons Island beach all the time. There are always sharks there, I think this is a black tip shark, I will be fishing there next month.
Wrong. From SC down to So. Fla.,but esp. around the Ga. sea islands, is the largest shark breeding grounds in the world. We have many different species of sharks. There have been some accounts of Great White's as well.
haha, very cool. I'm betting that was a young tiger shark. I think you only have 5-6 sharks off the Georgia coast. Lemon, Nurse, Spiny Dogfish, Hammerhead, and Tigers. I can't remember if there is another common.
