Science is fully compatible with many religions and philosophical beliefs. Many people throughout history have claimed that science is their religion. That being said, I despise anti-science people.

@legend3061 Actually, even here in NC, there are many people who might be moderately religious, or not religious at all, who think the way that I do and the way that you probably do regarding these issues. I really think we are the majority in this country. Many of us are just not as angry and rallied around certain causes or church groups. Many of us, unfortunately, are not as motivated to vote as the propaganda-believing, gullible conservatives.Visit secular.org and donate to counter this

@jimbrown257 Typical conskervative hypocrisy. I'll tell ya, I'm from the Northeast and now live in the buy bull belt south. Anytime any politician starts waving around the "faith" flag, they absolutely DO NOT get my vote. I'm constantly flabberghasted that people are stupid enough to buy into that shit. And then they whine and kvetch that their beloved, "christian" official doesn't live up to his/her promises. We have bigger problems than these "moral" issues, fucking morons.
