Field types are displayed in text, and the modifiers are shown with Eclipse icons matching those in the outline view.

I will look into different connections to reflect usages.

Have you thought of conveying some additional, potentially useful information through different styles and colors of nodes and connections?

for example strings/ints/classes could be distinguished visually, or the frequency of use of some variable/method can be shown. Maybe connections can have different color or style(like dotted/solid/dashed) based on the kind of connection, for example method calls/inheritance/property access. You can probably come up with better things. gj!
