Portora Car Lifting Prank!

Here's a Prank we did at school in late 2007, when most of us would have been about 16. We picked up a teachers Peugeot 106 and turned it sideways, leaving it boxed in the parking spaces! You can actually easily lift these cars with just two people at the back and rotate them!

I have a Peugeot 106 and used to have a Citroen AX, and we first discovered we could do this with these two cars. We must have lifted them 10-20 times before we did this prank, and never caused any harm, so it was a bit silly for the Vice Principal to be claiming we did damage. They claimed we did suspention damage, not bodywork damage or anything else. We did no more damage to the suspention of that car than jacking the car up to change a tire and setting it back down again. So anyway, hope you enjoyed! Please don't do this at home as you could pull your back out or also potentially damage the bodywork if you aren't careful where you lift! I in no way suggest this prank!!

Now in typical Portora style, this harmless prank got us all in a whole lot of trouble! After posting this video on YouTube in October of 2007, we were each exposed, and everyone involved was interrogated by the Vice Principal.

We were each told how we had caused severe damage to this teachers car, how the car was in a local garage, and how the Police were involved and we were going to be charged for intentionally causing damage to this womans car!

After leaving the Vice Principals office, we walked to the back of the school, only to find the car in its normal parking space!

Now thankfully, our Headmaster was away at the time, and as soon as he came back he sat us all down and had a talk with us. At the time of moving the car, we didnt actually know whose it was, but it turns out it belonged to a teacher who was new to the school, and who didnt actually teach any of us.

Thankfully the Headmaster saw this as just a harmless prank, however we had apparently caused some distress to the new teacher. We were then assured that the Police werent involved as we were originally told, and against the will of the Vice Principal (Who wanted us all suspended for maliciously targeting this teacher), we were simply asked to apologize. That day, at lunch time, we all signed out of school and bought the teacher some flowers. We got back up to school, presented her with the flowers, apologized, and all was good!
