I recognize that it is absurd to claim objectivity or "absolute truth" in the contexts you speak of. The word "objective" has a scientific as well as philosophical definition. The word is now redundant and useless word by virtue of this conversation; but objectivity in a scientific framework simply means (or is presumably intended to mean) a very well-founded belief system obtained subjectively upon granting a set number of initial assumptions asserted as axioms. I will not use the word anymore.
