This is the suffering of man who died about 2000 years ago. Facts have been changed litteraly millions of times... I love when people get offended when someone makes fun of this film. You realize Jesus wasn't actually in the movie, right? Someone wrote a script, money got put together, a bunch of fake blood was thrown around, extras enjoyed catering between shots, and Mel himself is standing just off-camera yelling "cut" between takes. They didn't actually travel back in time and film what happened.
