Weender Landstrasse is not the most picturesque view of Goettingen, and the start of this video resembles a sixties newtown promo video without the soundtrack. It's a relief to get into the Innenstadt and hear the locals instead of the traffic. I see the Flohmarkt is still a feature of the place. That ugly new tower (7:60) ruins the skyline and should be demolished. I lived here for 2 years in the eighties. Nice unpretentious town.
