The Storyline: The 2009 St. Louis Rams faced another disappointing season at its peak with a 1-15 record under recently attained head coach Steve Spagnuolo. With the 1st overall pick at their hands, the Rams acquired rookie quarterback, Sam Bradford from the Oklahoma Sooners. With Steve Spagnuolo at his second year, he has improved the Rams to a 7-9 record with a near playoff berth, having more wins than the last 3 seasons combined (6-42)

  • so whos all in favor of drafting Justin Blackmon??

  • @MrThetruth1986 I support grabbing Blackmon, but if we're trading down, we can settle for Alshon Jeffery or Michael Floyd along with more draft picks.

  • @yrba1 neither alshon or floyd are comparable to the playmaking ability of Blackmon. Blackmon is basically like Julio Jones only maybe a tad bit slower. Aren't you tired of us passing up playmakers and settling for less??

  • @MrThetruth1986 Blackmon reminds me more of T.O. minus the diva attitude.

  • 7:52 this looks familiar

  • lets pick RG3

  • i would love to see blackmon in rams blue and gold but i thing the rams should trade that 2nd pick to the browns or the redskins either way blackmon might still be there at 4 or 6 but if not alshon would be the best fit if blackmon is gone because of his jump ball abilty last year our main problem was poor red zone play and i think alshon would help with that then if we get the 22nd pick we should go olb or dt and in the second round i would pick coby fleeter or lamicheal james

  • @MrThetruth1986 no i meant trade your number 2 pick to the browns for their 4 pick and 22 pick for them to get rg3 and you guys to take whoever is left between kalil and blackmon

  • @biglittlejujitsuman on the outside looking in yeah it looks like we need alot of help, but a deeper look will show we dont. I can agree that yea we need another outside backer but Laurenitis and Poppinga are doing well at the other backer positions. Dont see a reason to trade linemen and get none back in return

  • @biglittlejujitsuman ok i was unaware of the vincent jackson situation, but youre right if Desean demands $ they arent goin to pay him (esp with his horrible performance this season). But I dnt think Stevies goin anywhere particularly because of how he produced this yr. And i will LOVE for us to keep Lloyd but with Mcdaniels leaving i expect Lloyd to go with him to the Patriots

  • @biglittlejujitsuman u cant be serious us trading for RG3?? Hey im a big RG3 fan but we have Bradford no point in bringing in a qb when we have a franchise one. But Blackmon can open things up for the other receivers on our team such as Amendola, Lance Kendricks, Austin Pettis, etc.

  • @MrThetruth1986 also no question you guys need either a linebacker or defensive tackle so you will need to spend money in free agency. if you trade with cleveland or get kalil at which point you can trade dahl and justin smith for players. drafting blackmon at number 2 would still leave lots of gaping holes in your team and would prevent trades of your tackles

  • @MrThetruth1986 chargers cannot place the franchise tag on him again and he refused to deal last year so i see v jackson being free. desean jackson will want money and i cant see andy reid agreeing to spend it. steven johnson is up in the air. bills have nobody else but gaily and johnson dont see eye to eye. there is always brandon lloyd again.

  • @yrba1 i dont class saffold as telanted but i think with justin smith you get a trade from someone like pittsburgh looking for o-linemen. that could lead to some decent receiver coming to st.louis. sure blackmon will be great but why pass on kalil when steven johnson will not be back in buffalo and vincint jackson and djax will probably be open to deals along with alot of second string guys
