Id like to get a 7 speed spicer overdrive...I have a 5.9 cummins for my 78 with an SAE bell housing so id like to use it and I want at least 6 gears so I only have about 600 or so rpm drop between each shift...it might be a little overkill for an f250

I had a Kenworth model W-925 with a 4x4 Spicer & a 6.50:1 rear end....it could do 55 mph...the gears were really merciful on the Cummins NH 220. I have pulled over 40 tons in 4th Over, but sacrificed steering...I could steer in 3rd Over but that's far too slow for freeway driving...

I have a 7 spd one out of my 95 international but it's a direct in high gear would sell for 500.00 dollars.
