*reads argument between murphy54000 and joblessalex*
I think I have found the most intellectually illogical argument two bronies have ever had. And I love it. XD

Rainbow Dash told me to stop? Ok. I will then.

NO... NEVER...

@murphy54000 Just saw that in my inbox.... I still don't know why we are arguing over fake magical pony genes. My life has seriously all been lost to degrade this far.
-
"starting" ...?
Just now?

@joblessalex Perhaps it's a special mutation/transformation brought upon the DNA of a different gene, that's either caused or accelerated by the proximity to the Elements of Harmony? I don't think that the Princesses began as Alicorns; at least, not entirely. Perhaps their strong magic, as I believe they started as Unicorns, if this were true, and their affiliation to the EoH eventually transformed them.
It would make the Alicorns an exceedingly rare case, yes?
-
@murphy54000 You seem very well educated on this topic so how could alicorn DNA possibly slip in? You see, I've only had partial success with pony teleportation. The reason dash was teleported was all due to the lack in genes to worry about translation of the recreation code i have created to reassemble on the other side. I noticed that alicorns do have another gene, but can't seem to find it! GRRR!

@joblessalex Actually, not as complex as you would think.
There's two genes in their DNA that decides their species, 'SGD I' and II. SGD1 holds a dominant a for an Earth pony, and a recessive for a unicorn. SGD2 holds a dominant for pegasus, but recessive for unicorn. However, the pegasus allele is only expressed when the Earth allele is absent, and the unicorn allele when there are no others.
so, if you cross EuPu and EuPu, there's a chance for 12/16 earth 3/16 pegasus 1/16 unicorn

@murphy54000 It's mRNA in a somehow mutated 4 piece codon with a shift mutation. Much more complex than you just "reading" it! MLP DNA is WAAAAY more complex than what you would think!
