Finders keepers. Good for them. Insurance would only have to pay up anyway. For thieving scum read: Our politicians, who have more scams going in Parliament than any other institution. And the long term unemployed! Now they are what I call thieving scum!

well can tell you for sure wind was 10 or more. it is true for wrong loading it is master's responsibility but when the information coming from stevedores about weight of cargo is deferes from the real weight there is no way to calculate without mistake.
-
heavy weather?? I heard it was only force 7...I mean, that's not that heavy...=/
And if it was bad loading, would that not be the chief mate's responsibility and ultimately the captain's?
-
yes capt is working like supperintendant in same company and feeling himself not bad. but there was not much fault from his side. main reason of this shit was heavy weather and wrong loading that lead to high banding moments. stevedores supplying wrong information about cargo on the paper is on thing and in real life is another.
-
I wonder if the captain's working yet?lol
-
damn. i was working like third mate on board of this vsl when all this shit happen).
-
lol its stil there

Ok, they've broken it up, half of the ship has already been towed off. The Containers where all lifted off by service ships and put on barges, and the final part of the ship is being prepared to be pulled off. It is slow work!- It won't all be gone for a long time yet, I don't think. Almost a land-, or sea-, mark, i guess!
