Actually if you put in the console "host_framerate (framerate here)" you can choose how many times a second it takes that "photograph" therfore, reducing the amount of time it takes to render. (render is the proper terminology)

Fraps has a free version that's pretty good but it only records up to 30 seconds per clip so you got too put it all inside Windows Live Movie Maker.

When i write startmovie *Name* avi the drop down menu only shows Pictures... How do i fix that??
