A comparison between the current scientific theories and the genesis.

"The Creation of Adam"
In the beginning with no space and time
An empty Cosmos without echo or rhyme
The land with no preacher, or meaning or basis
A relentless void, just forget homeostasis

A mysterious occurrence, no explanation,
Unless you believe in the quantum fluctuations
Gave birth to the Universe and to creation
To planets and stars and to civilization

The cause of all causes, law giver and taker,
The Alpha and Omega, destroyer and maker
The creator of evil, the giver of bless
As the wise ones would say Deus nussquam esse. (Latin for "God doesn't exist)

And as God awakened He tried to grab a look,
His intentions clear about writing a book.
But in the limbo of space, ¿How could he see?
So Let there be light! with all of his might! Said he.

God made a decision with pure innovation,
After all he was armed with tools of creation
So he made the firmament, big plans in his mind
It shall be filled with living forms of every kind!

And after creating this big, and rocky hell
There was no water in it for fishes to dwell
So he made the ocean with liquids, salt and sand
He will not tell you how, you would not understand.

Now all of the beautiful trees and herbs could spring
And the earth was a paradise, perfect and green
So we get to the detail you really should miss
In case reason and science provide you of bliss.

God created the moons and stars just, like our sun
Please dont use your logic! God said that is no fun!
Now God created animals, mighty and strong
God claimed that He made them all! Charles Darwin was wrong!

Now prepare for the part were God sadly screws up
Because even a bookie can run out of luck
So God created Adam, his biggest mistake
Who looked through the universe and to his own fate,
And so, when scared or in doubt, in fear or in hate
Adam created God, omnipotent but FAKE.

  • Beautiful :')

  • I am not an atheist, but I think this poem is great. Religion scares me! But I do not think it has to be science OR God/Universal Intelligence. Why can't there be room for both? Science, for me, explains U.I!

  • if thats really you........... THEN I LOVE YOUR VOICE!

  • I luv it.

  • PREMISE: "adam" "created" "male and female" Genesis 1:27.

    PREMISE: FORAGING. 1:29.

    PREMISE: Rest. 2:2.

    PREMISE: NO AGRICULTURE. 2:5.

    PREMISE: "the adam" "formed". 2:7.

    PREMISE: AGRICULTURE. 4:2-3.

CONCLUSION: FORAGING PRECEDES AGRICULTURE IN HUMAN HISTORY.

INQUIRY: If the account in Genesis is unreliable, then from the text of Genesis Chapters 1-4, and from the facts of Anthropological and Archeological Research, LOGICALLY CONCLUDE THAT THE FIRST HUMANS WERE FARMERS...

  • @PSmurf101 Flaunting ignorance? This poem? This is the least ignorant and the most inspiring poem I have ever heard.

  • @MrAlexo333 Offensive to who?
