This vid came out of a few things. I recently got very into Twilight and I love P&P, so xtahsee30's contest was the perfect opportunity to cross them over. When I read about Esme Cullen's tragic past, I knew I had my entry point. I also knew that the actress playing Esme in the Twilight film, Elizabeth Reaser, who I admire, had done a film called Sweet Land that would be perfect to use for Esme's past because it takes place around the same time frame as when Carlisle finds her. So, here it is: my first triangle vid, my first storyline vid, AND my first dip into the Twilight fan-vidding waters. ALL in one vid!!XD

*NOTE: the setting of P&P is shifted a little over 100 years into the future in this vid, to around 1919.

PLOT: Esme loves Fitzwilliam Darcy from the moment she sees him. She thinks about him as she works. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Bennet wishes for her true love. Esme and Darcy get together because he loves her passion, but he soon meets Elizabeth and he loves her too. He finds himself tortured with the decision, as both women await the future. Finally, he breaks it off with Esme. She is angered and then begins to think about Darcy and Elizabeth together all the time. She decides to leave for America, and she arrives as the vid ends, not knowing she is pregnant...

Omg! You're great! I so love twilight! And I so love Pride and Prejudice (my fave movie)! But I never would have thought of connecting them! Really beautiful vid! Just as the story!

This was really convincing. My favorite was when Esme was on the porch dancing and there's clips on D/E dancing as well.

I think this can function on its own separate from Twilight and P&P as its own original storyline.

It's very creative and heartwrenching. 10 stars!
