I'm 101% in favor of marriage equality, but they're right: president Obama swore to defend the constitution, which outlines that only the legislative branch has the power to repeal this law, and it must go through a specific process. He cannot just up and decide not to defend a law that is still on the books. As much as I loathe "DOM"A, it's still law...for now. And he's breaching duty.

It sounds like Obama proposed a law to kill every firstborn child in America. Grow the f*** up. Gays and lesbians deserve the same rights. And if someone tries to say something like 'sanctity of marriage' or 'traditional marriage', I will remind them, that that was the same argument given in 50s to stop interracial marriages.
