Why, in 2012, is faith a virtue? The vast majority of developed countries have either come to realize fully, or beginning to come to terms with THE FACT that religion is merely superstition.

America is majorly bent and soon to be broken by the god people. The irony of it all is that the reason you still believe is because you have yet to evolve as far as rational thinking people. I really hope that you don't blow us all up fighting over whose gawd is tougher.

Article VI of the US constitution: "The Senators & Representatives ...& the Members of the several State Legislatures, & all executive and judicial Officers....shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States." This is a non-issue. The reason Santorum brings it up is to get people (who don't know/care about the Constitution) emotionally charged up.

@metro143 It is in the US constitution. Direct quote: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion". That is saying that a government cannot favor a specific religion, or favor religion over anything else.
