http://www.freemaninstitute.com/nightearth.htm -- "Earth At Night" is perhaps one of the most spectacular, astounding views of the earth from space.
The image of Earth's city lights was actually a composite of hundreds of pictures created with data from the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) Operational Linescan System (OLS). Originally designed to view clouds by moonlight, the OLS is also used to map the locations of permanent lights on the Earth's surface.
Using archival ink and the latest printing technology, The Freeman Institute is offering fine art made from an extremely high resolution image provided by the NASA scientists who created it. These fine art prints are available in various sizes:
12" x 22" -- Petit
22" x 44"-- Medium
34" x 68" -- Large
44" x 88" -- Humongous!
We have also developed unusual all-occasion cards that can be used to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, promotion, graduation or some other event. They can also be used as "thank you" cards. Size: 11" long x 4.75" wide.
