There is nothing wrong with going on a date with your wife keeping a promise. But this is the same President that chastised the CEO of the car companies for flying private jets to DC for a meeting. This is the same President that told us we have to tighten our belts and cant keep our thermostats at 72% and cant drive what we want. What a hypocrite. He spent almost half of what I make in a year in for one night out

You may want to fact check before posting. The salary is actually a lousy $400,000 dollars a year, and even when Bush went on "vacation" he was conducting business or making official visits. All Obama had to do was make a stop at the local VFW and I couldn't care less how much he spent. Since this was 100% personal, he should be forthcoming with how much it cost me.

@carlousmagnus You make a good point with Crawford, but Camp David is a short helicopter ride to one of the most secure locations on the East Coast, the cost is minimal. For most of Bush's presidency we weren't strapping our belts, now we are. Now we watch the "personal", tax-payer funded expenses of our President. Times change.
