Lightning Storm on central Oregon coast

See http://www.beachconnection.net for more on the coast. Rare lightning storm hits Newport, Oregon. These clips were taken first under the Yaquina Bay bridge - for safety reasons. Then BeachConnection.net staff dared to stand on the hill and shoot towards the bridge, getting the final flash that lights up the bay. Things had really calmed down at this point. It wasn't safe to lurk around high vantage points until this point, especially with a metal tripod.
