  • Hey Pete, why didn't u try the RP versions? Or Devilbiss?

  • @HandsofGold92 To be honest with you,, I don't even use these type of guns, I use old school binks #7 guns...I just can't get used to the HVLP,, but I can say I got them.....

  • @swrnc so you kinda just wasted a grand or over a grand on guns you barely use lol but I understand, I started with gravity fed, and HVLP and compliant guns. Compliant to me is better. I've been trying to buy a sata but just too expensive :/ I'm a student at my high school collision program.

  • @HandsofGold92 Actually I took one back for a full refund, and I kept one, the one that has the bigger nozzle.. The fuckin thing is so "Pretty" I don't want to get it dirty!! ya ever had anything like that? Ya spend all that money for somthin then don't use it because it's pretty and perfect.. What a waiste of FUCKIN MONEY! BASTARDS!

  • With the hvlp guns wut size nozzle would you use for the 2k primer?

  • @stihl04491 Atleast a 2.0 nozzle/tip. Pete

  • @diyautoschool hmmmm beats swelling up the o rings on some other guns when cleaning them, less material bought and wasted.

  • @FHOshow Im kinda old school, Im still stuck on the ole Binks #7-siphon feed. I do like the sata's I have, but its a real pain in the ass cleaning them.. Pete

  • @diyautoschool hmm i see, never thought about that. but in my opinion is all depends on the booth you have too, if you have enough of a vacum in there or, is it a down draft? maybe the dust just might linger around the booth before it gets sucked out. I hate single stage its a fucken mess, if your not careful it just runs like a bitch.

I haven't bought a gun yet, but im looking at sata 3000 conventional, is that a good choice? so far its one of the best choices i can. what do you think?

  • @FHOshow Black shows every little mistake, dust speck ect. It's twice as hard to color sand and buff.. Black paint is NOT forgiving.. Pete
