  • Zeitgeist really is silly when it speaks about Christianity.

The character of Jesus indeed includes quite distinguishable collection of ancient Roman myths.

However, they got there not by the way that is described in the movie.

  • @Hercules2345 I'm not smearing you personally hah, nor am I mad. Not in the least. I'm as mad as I would be at someone who says the Holocaust is a myth. How could you be mad at someone like that. They are just sad and ignorant. I gave u a chance to give your side, if u don't want to I really don't care. I've got 6 arguments for the existence of God including PRIMARY, 1st generation sources. That's more then enough for even a skeptic, much less me ;). Good luck to you though sir!

  • @IceKnight366 Why would I waste my time on you you're obviously dishonest & haven't read the Forbes rebuttal at all or you'd have found many primary sources & scholar commentary on them proving you & Dr. Forbes wrong, embarrassingly wrong. If you had evidence to back up your claims all those ad hom & malicious smears wouldn't be necessary. You've got nothing & you know it. So, feel free to repeatedly insert your foot into your mouth & get as pissed as you want, my care factor = 0.

  • @Hercules2345 Not at all. May faith would be "shored up" regardless as I base it on the immediate experience of God. Which isn't to say that I don't also have reason and evidence. That site that was given was just laughable is all. I mean Ms. Acharya isn't even a scholar! She's a popularizer lol. Go ahead, give me 1 primary source. And a "600 page book" isn't a primary source hah. Please, I would love to see you back it up as I would get a kick out of it.

  • @IceKnight366 Make it up however you need to in order to shore up your faith at all costs. Forbes has been thoroughly debunked with credible primary sources & scholar commentary on them and you can't handle it so you have to lie about it. No big surprise there.

  • @Hercules2345 Wow... that website is just embarrassing as well as the claims he makes. It made me laugh for a bit though, so not a complete waste :P

  • This guy can't see the forest because of the trees...

  • @CarlosMarti123 LOL, you haven't read anything have you? Why lie so pathetically?

Rebuttal to Dr. Chris Forbes concerning 'Zeitgeist, Part 1'

    truthbeknown. com /chrisforbeszeitgeist. html

  • @Hercules2345 Amusing how atheists never actually cite factual scholarly sources of information, but instead rely on forum boards claiming to be experts!

  • Dr. Forbs gave good facts about distorsion of Zeitgeists religious interpretation but isn't it true that in one point in Egyptian religion Osiris got Ra's characteristics that created mish mash of Egyptian religion that resulted the birth of new religious interpretations, questions and dividations. Same thing hapened in Christianity as we know, questions like "is Jesus God?" or just his Son, and similiar clames.
