This show was hysterical I remember it back in 1993 and my wife and I were on the floor. The guy that called himself "Jack Lord" in order to "escape the Diner's Club people" was so funny. I think his name was Kurtwood Smith He was too much!

Wow, thanks for posting this. I had an obscure memory of this show from when I was 13 and on a whim decided to look for it. I was too young to know at the time who all these great actors were. I mean Adam Arkin, David Morse, Jane Kazcmarek? Wow. Quite a cast for a failed pilot. But I could swear I remember an ad for at least one more episode.

It's a shame it didn't get picked up.

Very funny. Human and real. I love the story about why this didn't get on the air. What a shame. Great comic timing.
