"Helpless Dancer" performed at The Who's Quadrophenia concert in NYC in 1996.

Absolutely great trade off vocally between Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend.

  • This is much better than the video they took from the same tour. Pete lamed out at "lesbians and queers" in that.

  • love the who, crazy song too

  • Pete's best friend and mentor for many years was Kit Lambert, who was openly gay. The disappearance of the "lesbians and queers" refers only to the fact that most homosexuals had to hide their sexuality in the 1964.

Hateful pricks like milliz need to stop projecting their own hangups on artists like The Who.

  • pete certainly isn't homophobic. in the england of 1964 however, homosexuality was illegal. the song was true to the times.

  • Brilliant, brilliant song.

  • a great not very pc but trurtful song a who fan.

  • Probably the best thing they wrote.
