Thanks goes to comicchars for finding two bugs, here's his channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/comicchars
Yes, I know I said Version 4.0/4.1 would be the final versions, but there were just a few more things nagging me. However, all the bugs that have plagued previous versions have been taken care of. The hack has been overlooked, played through almost twice (not counting the MANY many times before) and has been scrutinized to death. I can't say there are no bugs with this version, but I can say that I gave it my best shot this time around. The balancing and major tweakings are done. The only thing that will be accomplished with future releases (if needed) are quick bug fixes.
Changes made from V4.0 & V4.1:
+Battle Messages that have popped up before using specials like Fireball, Geno Beam/Blast/Flare, Terrorize, Mokura, Sleepy Time, Mute and Snowy have ALL been removed. Remember that when using specials now!
+Thunderbolt (Mg. Power 32 vs. 24), Geno Beam (Mg. Power 48 vs. 40) and Geno Flash/Geno Flare (Mg. Power 90 vs. 85) have seen a significant Mg. Power increase.
+Spire and Sleepy Time has seen Mg. power decreases but are ALSO the only other specials blessed with the Jump Counter bump still.
+Bowser's Terrorize special NOW does damage again and has a Mg. Power of 24.
+Some enemies will give you a little less EXP.
+Mack, the Axem Rangers, Exor, and Defender has had their scripts tweaked to make them more interesting but still fair too.
+All Enemies and Bosses are tweaked to best fit the difficulty curve.
+FP cost lowered for Geno Whirl (8 FP from 10).
+"Bob", the Shy Ranger has now been given a more appropriate name!
+Jump Counter has been lowered to prevent extreme brokenness, however it still will be very useful regardless.
+"Geno Flash" is now renamed to "Geno Flare" and is a tri-elemental attack (Don't worry, it will do reliable damage a lot, if not, ALL the time), it will maintain a high Magic Power and will hit 100%.
+New Reusable Items: Mint Bag (heals status effects on its user), Heart Stone (Heals 200 HP on its user, it would have healed 100 HP before).
+Lamb's Lure animation fixed and will now do its job as stated.
+Various equipment stats have been tweaked further to create a greater balance.
+A save point has been moved back to its original spot to fix some bugs.
+Triplets' Shop sells more useful items and a better "Mushroom."
+Talk with the guy behind the house to the left of the Mushroom Kingdom Castle to get a different message than the original.
+All dialogue has been looked over and edited to make sure that it conveys the correct information and is written well.
+Smithy has been balanced even more to make the final phase less aggravating, but still very difficult.
By the way, those that have done LP and/or playthroughs of previous versions of the hack AND still have the videos up of that LP, please make yourself known so I can add you onto this list. Those that are planning to do an LP of this version, be sure to let me know and I'll post up a link to your channel in the list below! This is my way of connecting the LP community!
NOTE: For those that have progressed into V4.1, I WILL release a V4.1 to V5.0 patch. However, save compatibility is definitely not a guarantee here. There are much more changes with V5.0 that were not present with V4.0/V4.1 and could experience some considerable problems. I'd RECOMMEND starting over but you certainly don't have to if you don't want to at all. I'd highly advise NOT updating to V5.0 if you want to continue off a save in V4.1 that's beyond the fight with Magikoopa in Bowser's Castle the second time through.

Enjoy the hack!
Hey, I don't know why but whenever I'm in Bowser's Keep and Peach gets Terrapunched, I'm not able to heal her at all after the battle. I'm forced to leave the stage and go to Mario's Pad or somewhere else to heal. It's really annoying. :/
Otherwise, great hack!

@affinity2412 Yeah, I'm not sure what the issue is with that, it's not a common bug, but it'll have to be something that'll be looked into for the future.

@WaddlerD I am encountering glitches everytime I face smilax at the end of bean valley, no matter what I do. If mallow is in my party, anytime there are 2-3 heads, one of them pops at random and the "mega" head appears, immediately followed by a game freeze. If he's not in my party, it becomes impossible to kill the 3rd smilax head, even when he's got 0 health. Is there something I might be able to do in order to fix this?
tsweet989 9 months ago
@tsweet989 Regarding this glitch, I'm still trying to understand why some people are getting it and why others aren't. All I can suggest is to patch a clean rom with the headerless patch. It might be the case that the headered patch is being used when there is no header and vice versa. I'll certainly be making things more simple. That had solved the problem for one person.

Could you also manage to put this on Emuparadise?
I just found out about V5.0 today, and had downloaded 2.0 yesterday on that site...

@MasterKade123 Hmm, alright. I'll see what I can do with that.
